Jake Ejercito says Jaclyn Jose guided him in his early years of fatherhood

Jake Ejercito, with the rest of the industry, mourns the passing of Jaclyn Jose.

Jake Ejercito honored the late Jaclyn Jose as he highlighted how the veteran actress helped him in his early years of fatherhood.

Jake co-parents Ellie with Jaclyn’s daughter, Andi Eigenmann.

In an Instagram story, the actor penned how much of a loving grandmother Jaclyn was.

“Of her many iconic roles, being a grandmother was one she cherished the most, especially to Ellie,” Jake said.

Jake also expressed how he “surely wouldn’t have survived those early years of fatherhood” without Jaclyn’s guidance.

“We rolled with the punches together–anything and everything just for Ellie,” he continued.

In the latter part of his message, Jake promised he will give his “best shot” to make sure Ellie will be okay.

“You’ve left a void in Ellie’s heart that we could only attempt to fill for the rest of our days. But I’Il give it my best shot and make sure she’ll be ok,” he said.

Jake mused, “Maraming salamat sa lahat, tita. You were loved, specially by your Ellie.”

Jaclyn Jose passed away on March 2 due to myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack.
