‘Bakit ako makikiramay, diba?’: Albie Casiño explains reasons for not attending Jaclyn Jose’s wake

Actor Albie Casiño made it clear that he did not attend the wake of Jaclyn Jose, the mother of his ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann.

During a media conference for his upcoming movie Kasalo, Albie addressed queries about his absence, stating, “Unang-una, I just wanna say rest in peace Ms. Jane saka condolences sa lahat ng tao na nagmamahal sa kanya, pero hindi naman ako apektado dun.”

He further expressed his belief that his presence wouldn’t be welcomed, stating, “Ba’t ako makikiramay, di ba.”

Albie’s relationship with Andi Eigenmann had been marred by controversy, including a bitter breakup and disputes over paternity.

In 2011, he denied fathering Andi’s daughter, Ellie, though it was later revealed that Jake Ejercito is the biological father.

Albie’s recent comments about his disinterest in Andi’s love life and reluctance to work with her again in 2023 underscored the strained nature of their past relationship.

Andi Eigenmann is currently married to surfer Philmar Alipayo, with whom she shares two children. She is also co-parenting Ellie with Jake Ejercito. Jaclyn Jose passed away on March 2 due to a heart attack.
