Daniel Miranda and Sofia Andres opened up about the dynamics of their relationship, with the actress admitting she often turns to social media and blocks the latter whenever they have a misunderstanding.

The celebrity couple spoke about this in an interview with actress-TV host Melai Cantiveros on the latter’s online talk show “Kuan on One” on Tuesday, June 24.

“Whenever I lose my temper, I’d block or unfollow him on social media… I think in that way, I have to [be more mature],” Andres admitted.

“When it’s our problem, it does not have to affect others on social media,” she said. “Because netizens are very updated. They can easily track who you follow and unfollow.”

It can be recalled that Andres and Miranda sparked breakup speculations in April after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Miranda then quipped how Andres would always block him, which prohibits him from following her social media account again. “I really had no option.”

Miranda continued, “I mean, misunderstandings happen. But at the end of the day, I’d remind her not to post our problem on social media.”

“It’s better if we fix it privately. Don’t give them hints through cryptic posts. Leave them out of it. It’s our problem to fix,” he further stated.

Andres, for her part, explained that while she acknowledges that communication is important to keep their relationship strong, there are instances when she loses patience with Miranda.

“I’d still block him when I’m mad because it means I have tried my best to communicate. Sometimes, he doesn’t listen to me,” she stressed.

“We, women, lose patience, too,” she continued. “But you really have to be there to keep the family together. I also need to understand him, not just my own emotions.”

The couple then mutually affirmed that despite the challenges they face as a couple, they always strive to be the best example to their five-year-old daughter Zoe.
