Former Taiwanese boy band F4 reportedly planning to reunite for concert in 2026 | The Star

Meteor Garden fans, rejoice!

Former Taiwanese boy band F4, the iconic Mandopop boy band known for starring in Meteor Garden, is reportedly reuniting in 2026.

An exclusive report by Taiwan’s Mirror Media said that all four original members—Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Ken Chu, and Van Ness Wu—have reportedly reached an agreement to come together for a long-awaited concert to mark the 25th anniversary of their debut.

“The reunion was made possible by Taiwan-based recording company B’in Music, which was behind the comeback of Energy in 2024,” the media outlet said.

Further details, such as the venue and countries they will visit, have yet to be announced.

F4 rose to fame in 2001 after starring in the wildly popular Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, based on the Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango. The series became a cultural phenomenon across Asia, making the four actors instant stars and leading to the formation of F4 as a musical group.

Their success extended beyond television, with F4 releasing three studio albums, including Meteor Rain (2001), Fantasy 4ever (2002), and Waiting for You (2007).

Due to copyright issues, the group was later rebranded as JVKV, using the initials of their first names.

F4 disbanded in 2009 as members pursued individual careers in music, acting, and other ventures. Their last performance as a group was in 2013, during a surprise reunion at Jiangsu Television’s Spring Festival Gala in China.
