Kapuso actress Jillian Ward expressed her frustration over the years-old rumors about her having a sugar daddy or a benefactor. In a recent interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this week, she dispelled all the rumors circulating on social media and maintained that she uses her own hard-earned money to purchase her things–– including a luxury car and investments.
Jillian shared that she didn’t want to speak up at first as she was advised not to since she knows the rumors aren’t real but she’s had enough after her family, especially her mother, was dragged to the issue.
“Sobrang absurd ng mga kwinekwento nila. Tinawanan ko pa siya nung una. Then nung nag basa ako ng mga comments, sobrang na hurt na talaga ako. Sobra na yung pambabastos ng mga tao because of fake news,” she shared.
“It took me four years to speak up about it and yung pinaka turning point din sa akin is yung family ko–– binabastos na rin especially my mom. Sabi ko, enough na po,” she added.
The Kapuso star asserted that her mother never sold her to anyone for money or investments. She maintained that she has been in the industry long enough to afford the purchases she’s been making.
“Yung sinasabi nila na binebenta daw ako ng mother ko kaya daw ako may mga investments. Siyempre, nakakabastos yun sa mother ko tapos iniisip ko din yung 15 years of hard work ko, parang tinatapon lang nila lahat yun dahil sa fake news. Sobra yung disrespect sa comments,” she maintained.
Jillian assured everyone in the same interview that she can prove that she paid for all of her things as she has receipts to back it up.
“Parang everytime na may naachieve ako or may binibili ako na alam niyo naman, alam ng GMA, na I can afford it with my own money. Gumagawa sila ng fake news na kesyo may nagbigay sa akin and it’s all fake so sobrang nakakabastos siya kasi sobrang below the belt na rin yung mga ginagawa nilang kwento,” she expressed.
In the same interview, she also denied her relationship with veteran politician Chavit Singson who has been linked to her as well. She revealed that she hasn’t even met him in person and challenged anyone to share CCTV footage if they’ve ever spoken in person.
“No. Never po namin siya na meet kaya nga sinasabi ko kung meron silang sinasabi nilang CCTV footage, ilabas nila. Wag lang AI,” she demanded.
