“My happiest birthday to date.”

These were the words of Kathryn Bernardo as she shared a montage of scenes from her 28th birthday celebration in El Nido, Palawan on March 26.

The Kapamilya actress took to Instagram to share the highlights of her birthday celebration via a video.

“WHAT A DAY! Didn’t want it to end. Keeping these moments in my core memory forever. 🥹 Thank you for making this my happiest birthday to date. Cheers to 28! 🤍🥂” she posted.

Fans and friends of Kathryn were quick to react to her post.

“Salamat sa napakaganda mong ngiti bai, sobrang masaya akong nakikita kang masaya! Mahal ka namin bai!!!” Maymay Entrata commented.

“You deserve to be happy 🫶🏻 Happy birthday kath kaaaaath!” Chie Filomeno wrote.

The said birthday celebration was attended by friends and family of the actress including her Hello, Love, Goodbye co-stars Alden Richards, Kakai Bautista, Lovely Abella, and Maymay.

Other celebrity friends of Kathryn spotted at the event were Jericho Rosales, John Manalo, Joshua Garcia, and Miles Ocampo. ABS-CBN Chief Executive Officer and President Carlo Katigbak also graced the birthday celebration.

Meanwhile, Kathryn’s mother Min Bernardo also took to social media to pen a heartfelt birthday message for her daughter.

“Shout out to you my daughter, you haven’t felt okay lately but you get up everyday and refuse to quit,” Min wrote.

She added that she appreciates Kathryn’s openness with her family.

“Really appreciated your desire to talk and share your problems, ideas, and opinions. And very much appreciated how you consider the guidance of our family in every step of the way. H A P P Y 28th B I R T H D A Y🎂 W E L O V E Y O U…,” Min wrote.

Prior to her birthday, Kathryn had her first solo trip abroad when she traveled to Australia to watch Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour concert.

She also met her family and friends in the Land Down Under.
