MANILA — Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo was among the big stars who stunned the Mall of Asia Arena crowd at a fashion show Friday night, March 21.

Before walking down the runway, Bernardo did some final workouts in her dressing room together with her coach.

“We did some bands, and I brought my dumbbells, just to pump me up,” said Bernardo. “I was really nervous, but then I had a wonderful time.”

To celebrate the end of the show as well as her upcoming 29th birthday, Bernardo said she will “eat something good.”

“[Ang tagal] kong nagprepare for this eh, so after this I can eat na. It was worth it naman for us, mga nag-prepare, mga nag-diet, and of course, sila Tito Ben [Ben Chan].”

Ahead of her birthday, Bernardo said she wishes for growth and genuine happiness.

“I’m just here for growth this year so sana magtuloy-tuloy siya,” she said. “I just wanna be genuinely happy.”

The actress has no plans yet on how she will celebrate her birthday.

“No plans but for now my last work is until Sunday then I’ll decide na lang kung saan man,” she said.
