Daniel Padilla just turned 27 on April 26, and his girlfriend and 2 Good 2 Be True co-star Kathryn Bernardo penned a short but sweet message to her real-life leading man.

Posted on April 27 on Instagram, Kathryn wrote, “Dancing through life with you and enjoying every single step. Remember that you and I are always in sync, and no matter what the music is, there’s no better rhythm than when we’re dancing TOGETHER.”

The actress ended her post by writing, “Happy birthday to my person.”

Kathryn’s birthday post for Daniel came with a photo and a video of them dancing together on a boat that was presumably shot in Palawan where Kathryn celebrated her 26th birthday.

Apart from her super sweet message, Kathryn and Daniel’s manager, Luz Bagalasca planned a surprise birthday party for the actor on the set of 2 Good 2 Be True on April 26. The party was attended by ABS-CBN executives Mark Lopez, Carlo Katigbak, Cory Vidanes, and Laurenti Dyogi, as well as Daniel’s mom, Karla Estrada, and his sister, Carmella.
