Fans have been noticing that Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino have become even bolder and more open with their words and actions that reveal just how close they’ve become over time.

Honestly, that’s exactly what we witnessed here at Kapamilya Chat when they took on the “Dear KimPau” Challenge. In this game, the “My Love Will Make You Disappear” lead stars are given a series of prompts or statements that they must complete with their own words. What was supposed to be just a fun game turned into the perfect opportunity for them to let their guard down and share some truly candid moments with each other.

In the first part of the game, where they had to ask each other questions starting with “bakit” (why), Kim threw this super endearing one: “Bakit ka masaya?” Of course, Paulo answered, “Masaya ako dahil overwhelming ang suporta ng mga tao sa ating pelikula. Hindi ako makapaniwala.”

And then Kim wasn’t quite prepared for the juicy and somewhat teasing “bakit” question Paulo threw her way: “Bakit parang nagsa-sparkle ‘yung mata mo ‘pag tinitingnan mo ako?” But Paulo probably didn’t expect to be just as flustered by Kim’s answer, as she playfully responded, “Siyempre, sino ba naman ang hindi magsa-sparkle kung ganitong mukha naman ang makikita mo.”

Paulo’s intense stares and that charming smile seemed to give Kim the confidence to play along with the ‘what if’ prompt, and she teasingly asked, “What if tayo?” Paulo grinned, shooting back with a follow-up question, “What if hindi tayo nagkatrabaho?” to which Kim reacted, “That’s the saddest ever.” Cue the cutest emoji!

In the last round, it sure wasn’t hard for them to continue with the line “I’m happy for you because…” because, obviously, they’re genuinely happy for each other. She told him, “I’m happy for you because nag-rom com ka,” because who would have thought that the serious actor, Paulo, would dive into a light romance like “My Love Will Make You Disappear”

Meanwhile, Paulo got a bit more serious as he told Kim, “I’m happy for you because you deserve all the success that’s coming your way.” Altogether now: Aww!
