Aside from their talents in singing and composing songs, Ogie Alcasid and Janno Gibbs have other things in common. One of which is that both of them had past relationship with actress Manilyn Reynes.

During their appearance on Sunday’s episode of ABS-CBN’s late night comedy show “Gandang Gabi Vice”, the two former Kapuso singers told stories in the past that involved Reynes.

Alcasid admitted that he once courted Reynes but things didn’t work out between them, and even until now, they never had any form of closure.

“Pwede ‘wag na natin ‘tong pag-usapan, actually hanggang ngayon. So parang ayaw ko pag-usapan,” Alcasid said, referring to his relationship closure with Manilyn.

But when Vice Ganda get an answer out of Alcasid, the singer simply said, “Let’s just say minahal ko siya”.

But before his interview got the people talking, Alcasid clarified that he and Reynes are good friends and even referred to her as his “kumare”.

For his part, Gibbs also admitted that he became Reynes’ boyfriend. Gibbs and Reynes were a former love team who worked in several shows together.
