Emman Atienza, the daughter of broadcaster and media personality Kim Atienza, has passed away. The unfortunate news was announced by the family on their social media accounts earlier today.

The cause of Emman’s death has not been disclosed by the family.

“It’s with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman,” the official statement of the family wrote.

In their statement, they described their late daughter as someone who “brought so much joy, laughter, and love” to everyone who had the chance to know her.

“She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her. Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone,” the statement continued.

In honoring the life of Emman, the family hopes that everyone could continue giving a little “extra kindness” in their everyday lives–– something she lived by.

“To honor Emman’s memory, we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life,” the statement ended.

Friends and fans of Emman expressed their deepest condolences in the comment section of the joint post. Other netizens shared how surprised they were with the unfortunate news of the social media personality’s passing.
