Gabbi Garcia turned emotional upon finding out that the restaurant she dined with boyfriend Khalil Ramos on their first date has closed down.

“Storytime at midnight. 🤎 Earlier tonight, after dinner, we decided to take a walk around BGC to burn some calories. While strolling past Fort Strip, we remembered seeing an IG post about it closing down—and that’s when it hit us: Ogawa, the very first place we went on a date back in 2017, was actually part of Fort Strip,” she shared on her Instagram page.

Gabbi relayed that they didn’t realize it sooner because Ogawa wasn’t in the main Fort Strip area. “It was in a separate building nearby, which is probably why we forgot it was part of the strip,” she said.

Gabbi admitted that she cried upon realizing that it closed down its operations.

“Seeing it closed broke our hearts!! We were so sad, and yes, i was crying huhu. 😢 This place holds so many special memories for us, and we really hope they reopen someday so we can celebrate there again,” she said.

Gabbi then took a trip down memory lane and shared photos of their dates at Ogawa through the years including their very first date in 2017.

Fans were quick to react to Gabbi’s post.

“Awwww…. Glad you were able to take photos and spend some time there ❤️,” one fan commented.

Back in February, Gabbi and Khalil celebrated their 7th anniversary.

“7 years together ♡ it’ll always be you, @khalilramos. I love you!” the actress posted on social media.

Meanwhile, Khali wrote on social media: “Year 7 in 60 seconds. 7 years with you, @gabbi. 🖤 I couldn’t imagine spending them with anyone else but you. I love you!!”

The actress highlighted that Ogawa has always been sentimental for them as a couple. “It’s become a tradition to go back every anniversary, order the same meals, and relive the memories of our first date. 🥺”
