The upcoming romantic comedy “Materialists” starring A-listers Chris Evans, Dakota Johnson, and Pedro Pascal has released its first promotional material for the film.

Film production company A24 released the first official poster for “Materialists,” a material featuring a heart-shaped cake that includes the official release date of the film which is set for June 13 this year.

According to the official logline, the story follows “a young, ambitious New York City matchmaker [who] finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex.”

“Materialists” is Celine Song‘s follow up to her two-time Oscar-nominated 2023 directorial debut “Past Lives,” starring Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Magaro.

Last year, Evans, Johnson, and Pascal were photographed shooting some intimate scenes for the rom-com feature.

Evans and Johnson were captured seated on a park bench, with the former touching the latter’s face, while another image showed Johnson locking lips with Pascal.

Johnson was last seen in the title role for Marvel Studios’ “Madame Web” in 2024, while Evans last appeared in the action comedy “Red One” alongside Dwayne Johnson and Lucy Liu.

Meanwhile, Pascal is fresh from the success of “Gladiator II” and is set to be seen next in Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” and the upcoming seasons of “The Last of Us” and “The Mandalorian.”
