Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo shared how she’s allowing herself to be vulnerable at a time when she’s about to turn a year older. During the media conference of the upcoming season of Pilipinas Got Talent where she was named as one of the judges, the award-winning star expressed how she has her days as well.
Kathryn is set to turn 29 years old this coming March 26.
She admitted how she feels “lost” in her life and recalled how she had this same feeling several years ago.
“I’m turning 29 in a few days. I’m at the point in my life again wherein I feel so lost. I felt this, I remember, when I gave a message for the thanksgiving party of the Hows of Us–– this was the same feeling,” she shared.
The Kapamilya star added that she didn’t expect to feel it again but acknowledged how it’s a part of “adulting and growing.” She expressed how scared she is about it but still continues to move forward and rise above it.
“To be honest, I’m so scared, I’m so lost but I think it’s so brave na everyday I show up just like what Donny [Pangilinan] said kanina. I show up and I choose to grow and accept all the uncertainties because I don’t know bigla ko lang siya nafeel,” she added.
Kathryn maintained that whatever she’s feeling is probably her birthday blues or quarter life crisis.
Despite all of her emotions, she chooses to allow herself to become vulnerable and feel all of these things–– something she wants to normalize.
“Parang, what’s next for me? Parang I’m feeling all these emotions. Feeling ko, it’s just brave na tinangap ko yun–– I’m allowing myself to be vulnerable… I have my days and hindi ko na yun tinatago sa mga tao,” she said.
Meanwhile, she revealed that she is in her “transition stage” as she moves to her own place. She admitted that it wasn’t an easy decision but it’s something that needed to be done in order for her to grow as a person.
“I’d like to call this my transition stage na feeling ko kasi in the next coming years it’s very very important kasi yun yung mag didictate kung saan ako sa future.”
“It’s my way of getting to know myself more and growing. Yes, I’m scared–– I don’t know what would happen. I don’t know if I could do it but I’m just very open and I’m here for growth so wish me luck in the coming months,” she ended.
Catch Kathryn in the latest edition of Pilipinas Got Talent starting this March 29 and 30. She will be joined by Eugene Domingo, Donny Pangilinan, and Freddie “FMG” Garcia in the judging panel.
