As the opening date for his Star Cinema film My Love Will Make You Disappear draws near, leading man Paulo Avelino said that his role as the mysterious Jolo had him feeling honest-to-goodness “kilig” on the set as well while shooting scenes with co-star Kim Chiu.
“There were a lot of times. Not for anything, pero minsan kasi kailangan as an actor, kailangan totoo yung nararamdaman niyo eh, yung nilalabas niyong emosyon.
In real life though, Paulo said he is not the type of guy to admit feeling that way. Ewan ko, siguro pag nakikita ko sa baunan ni Kim na may gulay at may halong karne (laughs),” he said jokingly, after sharing that his leading lady sometimes packs food for him on the set.
When asked what he would do if he met a character like Kim Chiu’s role as Sari, Paulo said he does not know if he could fall for someone who believes she is cursed when it comes to love.
Abangan niyo na alng kung paano,” he said.
To keep himself in shape and to maintain his heartthrob status, Paulo continues to push himself with challenging workouts that he shares on his social media account regularly.
“The first thing I do in the morning is work out at saka lagi kong sini-stress na lately ko lang natutunan, okay pala balansehin yung work at saka yung pahinga.
