Vice Ganda is no stranger to endorsements, but some of her collaborations hold a deeper meaning.

One of them is her long-standing connection with CDO Funtastyk Young Pork Tocino, a brand she first worked with early in her career.

Now, years later, she’s back as its endorser in a moment she describes as both heartwarming and memorable.

“Nakakatuwa siyempre na-reconsider nila na maging endorser ako ng Funtastyk Tocino kasi isa yun sa mga pinakauna kong endorsements dati, at sobrang proud ako dun,” says Vice.

“Isa sa mga magagandang TVC na nagawa ko rin yun dati.

“Kaya memorable sa akin yung Funtastyk Tocino TVC ko, kaya nung sinabihan ako na gagawa uli ako ng campaign for the same brand, sabi ko, ‘Aaayy, nakakatuwa, ni-reconsider nila ako.’”

For Vice, being chosen again is a validation of the strong connection she built with the brand, on top of being another professional milestone.

She expresses: “Masarap sa pakiramdam na pinahalagahan ka ng mga dati mong nakatrabaho. At ikaw pa rin ang pinipili.

“Di ba sa buhay, ang sarap ng ganun na pakiramdam na ikaw yung muling pinipili?”

Why Vice Ganda Sticks to the Tocino She Grew Up With

Beyond the endorsement, Vice Ganda is genuinely a fan.

She admits that Funtastyk Tocino has been a staple in her home, even during the years when she wasn’t under contract with the brand.

Vice recalls: “Parang no-brainer naman kung bakit number one yung Funtastyk Tocino kasi ang sarap talaga niya.

“Kahit hindi ka endorser ng Funtastyk Tocino, masasabi mo na masarap talaga ‘to… Kahit nung mga taon na wala [akong] kontrata sa Funtastyk Tocino, siya pa rin yung gusto ko talaga, e, kahit sa bahay namin.”

Known for her unfiltered honesty, the It’s Showtime mainstay host doesn’t hold back especially when it comes to food.

The distinct taste of Funtastyk Tocino, she says, remains unmatched.

“Iba talaga yung linamnam niya. Wala siyang kapares. Kaya unkabogable siya.”

A Comfort Food That Delivers Both Taste and Value

Vice Ganda understands that for many Filipino households, every peso counts.

She highlights how Funtastyk Tocino fits into the lives of hardworking families who want both quality and value for their money.

“Sa mga tocino lovers diyan na katulad ko, sa Pilipinas kasi talaga, isa sa mga comfort food natin ang tocino,” she explains.

“Sa panahon na ito, kailangan ang mga ina-avail natin talaga may value for our money. Dahil hindi naman ganun kadali ang buhay sa Pilipinas, di ba?

“Mahalaga sa atin yung mga trabaho natin? Yung pinaghihirapan natin at ang kinikita natin? Kaya itong Funtastyk Tocino talaga magbibigay ng value for our money. Walang sayang.”

And for those who have yet to try it, Vice Ganda has a simple message:

“Kung di niyo pa natitikman, may nami-miss out kayo, girl. Tikman niyo na yung CDO Funtastyk Young Pork Tocino at ewan ko na lang kung maghanap pa kayo ng iba.”

CDO Funtastyk started with a clear goal: to give Filipinos a tocino product made from 100% young pork.

Since its launch in 2005, the brand has introduced various products, including Fatless Tocino, Pork Longganisa, and Chili Tocino.

Later, it expanded its lineup with Barbecue Tocino, Chicken Tocino, and ready-to-grill BBQ on sticks, catering to different tastes and meal preferences across the country.
