Veteran showbiz reporter Cristy Fermin dropped hints that Incognito actor Daniel Padilla is trying to woo ex-girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo. In one episode of Showbiz Now Na, Fermin revealed that Padilla is making effort to win back his former inamorata.
“Ilang gabi na raw po nitong nakaraang linggo na nakikita ang sasakyan ni Daniel Padilla na paikot-ikot sa subdivision kung saan nakatira ang mga Bernardo (For many nights the past weeks, Daniel Padilla’s car was seen circling around the subdivision where the Bernardos live),” Fermin revealed.

Not only that. Padilla is said to be looking for someone who could mediate between him and Bernardo.
“Ang balita pa, humahanap talaga ng tao na makakapagtulay para sa kanila ni Kathryn (Reports say he’s looking for a person who can be a bridge for him and Kathryn),” Fermin added.
Recall that during the ABS-CBN Christmas special, Padilla was rumored to have visited Bernardo in her dressing room. It was even reported that he brought Bernardo flowers then.
Padilla, it seems, has not gotten over his feelings for Bernardo. Proof are the sweet photos in his Instagram account which he has not deleted since their separation.
Why ‘Incognito’ is number one on Netflix
We watched the first two episodes of Incognito last weekend and were not surprised that it landed number one spot on Netflix when it premiered.
For one, its director, Lester Pimentel Ong, genuinely displayed slam-bang action in the first episode where the character of Belle Mariano was kidnapped.
What followed were a series of well-choreographed action scenes involving the main cast — Richard Gutierrez, Baron Geisler, Kaila Estrada, Anthony Jennings and Daniel Padilla.
Gutierrez was in his best physical element when he rescued one kidnap victim. Geisler, a sharpshooter, displayed his skills with a gun. Estrada, an IT expert and hacker showed her badass demeanor in one fight scene where she knocked off five nemesis. Although Jennings was made to look dirty and somewhat ugly, still, his dashing looks manage to seep through even when he engaged in a street fighting.
But the biggest revelation was Padilla who plays an ex-soldier. His fight scene in the train was reminiscent of one movie starring Jason Statham we’ve watched many moons back. Boy, Padilla is such a bad boy!
Sum it all up and you have an action-filled series which not only fill up your adrenaline thirst but five stories worth telling.
Of course, another plus is Ian Veneracion, the leader of the group whose to-die-for masculinity and annoyingly handsome presence more than make fans drool over.
Why composer Lolito Go likes Maris Racal’s new song
Prolific songwriter Lolito Go posted a review of Maris Racal’s latest song, “Perpektong Tao.”
“I can almost hear people saying, ‘Someone’s trying to flip the narrative in her favor’ or ‘Someone’s trying to turn a personal scandal into a creative success.’ So what? Anong gusto niyo, magmukmok na lang siya (What do you want, for her to sulk) and wallow in despair? Gusto niyo convicted politicians lang ang magkaroon ng major comeback?” he wrote on his Facebook account.
Go believes there is nothing new about what Racal did as Moira dela Torre had already done that in “Eme.”
“Ginawa na ‘yan ni Miley Cyrus sa ‘Flowers.’ Ginawa na ni Taylor Swift ‘yan sa buong Reputation album niya. Ginawa na ‘yan ni Kim Chiu sa ‘Bawal Lumabas’ (Miley Cyrus did that in ‘Flowers.’ Taylor Swift did that in her whole Reputation album. Kim Chiu did that in ‘Bawal Lumabas’),” he explained.
“The only difference this time, Maris Racal is owning up to her mistakes. She doesn’t shift the blame to the other party. It just shows that she definitely has matured,” he stressed.
While Go believes that “Maris’ song is far from being perfect in itself,” he praised its musical arrangement as “it’s bold, it’s energetic.”
“The music video pays homage to a scene in Giuseppe Tornatore’s Malena. The title is intriguing. The performance is convincing. Kinapos lang ng sapak ‘yung lyrics. When it was first advertised, I was expecting it to come crashing like a wrecking ball.
“The song chose the easier way to just seek public acceptance by asking for forgiveness. Without the unnecessary shenanigans.
“My verdict? Four out of five stars. This song is a testament to Maris Racal’s prowess as a singer-songwriter. And this should also explain why a Rico Blanco–one of our generation’s GOATs—easily fell for her,” he explained
