A friend discovered Kim’s body at her house in Seoul after the actress failed to appear at a scheduled meeting, Yonhap News Agency and other local media reported.

Police found no signs of foul play but are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Kim’s death, according to the reports.

Kim began acting at the age of 9, garnering attention through the action thriller film “The Man from Nowhere” in 2010.

In recent years, she led the mystery series “The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim” (2021) alongside Nam Da-reum, and had a supporting role in the action drama “Bloodhounds” (2023).

Kim has mostly been inactive from the entertainment industry due to a drunk driving incident in 2022. In 2024, she also made headlines after being linked to actor Kim Soo-hyun in dating rumors.
