Wedding bells rang for several celebrities in 2024. From grand celebrations to vow renewals, here are the stars who tied the knot this year
Kapamilya host Robi Domingo married his longtime girlfriend, Maiqui Pineda, in January, more than a year after announcing their engagement. The couple’s highly anticipated wedding took place at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador in Pulilan, Bulacan, near Robi’s family farm.
The Filipino-themed wedding was attended by several stars, including Kathryn Bernardo, Donny Pangilinan, Darren Espanto, Daniel Padilla, Melai Cantiveros, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Piolo Pascual, ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN COO Cory Vidanes, and Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi. Notable figures like former Vice President Leni Robredo and Dr. Vicki Belo were also present at the celebration.
Another wedding also took place in January 2024 as comedienne-actress Valeen Montenegro married her non-showbiz partner, Riel Manuel.
During the wedding, Valeen made an impromptu decision to change her look for the second part of the celebration by cutting her hair.
“Known for being indecisive, but cutting my hair on the spot for my 2nd look was hands down one of my best wedding day decisions. 😅 Huge thanks to my amazing Hair and Makeup team for making it happen! ✨💫❤️🔥,” Valeen said in a post.
Valeen also included their house angels as flower girls in the ceremony.
From their “123123” wedding in Los Angeles, actress Angelica Panganiban and husband Gregg Homan tied the knot again on the island of Siargao on April 20.
On Instagram, friends of the couple shared moments from their intimate wedding ceremony, which was attended by stars like Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Bela Padilla, Glaiza De Castro, Cherry Pie Picache, Maxene Magalona, and John Prats, who was the ring bearer in Angelica and Gregg’s entourage.
“Dahil sa ‘yo naging sapat ako. Salamat dahil hindi lang ikaw ang dumating. Dumating ang isang tao na hihigitan pa ang kapasidad kong magmahal ng dumating si Bean sa buhay natin.”
Celebrity couple Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde had a double celebration on March 23 as they got married on the same date as Ria’s birthday.
A month after announcing their engagement, Zanjoe and Ria surprised their followers by revealing that they had already held a civil wedding in Quezon City.
Renz Fernandez, son of Rudy Fernandez and Lorna Tolentino, tied the knot with actress Jef Gaitan on June 25 at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City.
The couple had a private ceremony attended by their family and close friends from show business, including ABS-CBN COO Cory Vidanes, former senator Manny Pacquiao, Senator Lito Lapid, Senator Grace Poe, Filipino designer Paul Cabral, and actresses Cheska Iñigo Winebrenner and Isabel Rival, who served as the couple’s godparents. Star Magic actor Ivan Carapiet was also spotted at the wedding.
Renz is currently part of the hit Kapamilya primetime action show FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
Kapamilya singer-actress Angeline Quinto married her partner, Nonrev Daquina, on April 25, 2024, in a Filipino-themed wedding. The couple held their intimate ceremony at the historic Quiapo Church in Manila, where both Angeline and Nonrev are devoted to the Black Nazarene.
“Dito sa lugar na ito, simbahang ito, ako humihingi sa mahal na Mahal na Poong Nazareno na sana bigyan ako ng lalakeng makakasama ko habang buhay. After 4 years, nandito tayo ngayon. Hindi naging madali umpisa natin, pero hindi tayo bumitaw,” Angeline said in her vows.
Angeline also released a new song, “Salamat Ika’y Dumating,” which was sung during their wedding ceremony.
Goin’ Bulilit alumni Nash Aguas and Mika dela Cruz surprised netizens with the announcement of their wedding via an Instagram post on May 18.

Celebrities such as Belle Mariano, Kaila Estrada, Adrian Lindayag, Loisa Andalio, Elisse Joson, Alexa Ilacad, Ketchup Eusebio and Ramon Bautista were spotted as part of the entourage.
Before the wedding, Carlo and Charlie sparked engagement rumors in February when Charlie was seen wearing a ring which Carlo denied at the time.
Content creators and entrepreneurs CongTV (Lincoln Velasquez) and Viy Cortez had an enchanting wedding on June 17. The couple shared glimpses of their grand ceremony on social media, which reportedly cost an impressive eight-digit figure.
According to their wedding planner, the event featured a fairytale-like theme. Celebrities who worked with the couple, including cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao and Alex Gonzaga, attended as godparents.
Another dream wedding also happened in 2024 with Jervi Li (formerly known as Kaladkaren) officially tying the knot with her British partner Luke Wrightson on September 8.

In an interview with an international fashion magazine, Heart revealed that they had initially planned the vow renewal for their fifth wedding anniversary.
“We actually originally wanted to do it during our fifth-year wedding anniversary but life just kind of got in the way and it didn’t really pan out. But all things happen for a reason; we’re here in our ninth year of marriage and it just feels like the perfect time to do it,” Heart said.
The actress went on: “We’ve grown so much as a couple and are in a great place together. The total wedding planning took about nine months—my husband actually took full rein in planning everything. I’m very lucky.”
