Barangay Ginebra star Scottie Thompson is now married to Jinky Serrano. He married her twice and just this December, their second wedding by the beach was privately held in Davao del Norte six months after they first tied the knot in a civil wedding

He was first engaged with Pau Fajardo, his known long-term girlfriend but their wedding did not happen and he married a different girl. This is the reason why the PBA star’s first wedding came as a big shock and a huge controversy at first.

However, when his wedding video got uploaded in the Nice Print Channel, many people were sent abuzz online after they seemingly heard him say “Pau” in his wedding vow. To most people, they heard him say: “(Pau) na to stay in love with you…”

However, in a video where the part where he’s expressing his vows was not cut, he actually said, “(I vow) na to stay in love with you…”

Many people misheard it since “vow” and “Pau” sound almost the same. Scottie was not yet in the limelight when Pau became his girlfriend. She was there in every game he had – she was there all along through his win and loses. But really, there are people who are really not meant to be together regardless the length of time and how deep the love they once shared.
