Barbie Forteza admitted that wedding ideas are something that she and boyfriend Jak Roberto have already discussed.

“Kinikilig nga ako kapag nagse-send siya sa akin ng mga parang wedding videos sa Instagram kasi parang sabi ko, ‘Okay so pumapasok sa isip niya.’ Tapos sinisend nya sa akin,” she shared in an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

She went on: “He wants to get involved in that area kasi ‘di ba po ba ang mga boys ayaw nila nagpa-plan ng wedding di ba? So may ganun siya.”

Barbie and Jak have been in a relationship for seven years. When asked how they have sustained their relationship, Barbie credited Jak’s maturity when it comes to handling a relationship.

“Ang laking factor po kasi na ang mature mag-handle ng relationship ni Jak so ‘yung ugali ko na-tolerate niya. Feeling ko kasi meron akong pagka-alpha so parang pagdating sa relationship namin, napapatiklop ako nung Jack eh,” she relayed.

The actress explained: “Kasi kapag meron po kaming matter na pinag-uusapan tapos siyempre as an alpha feeling ko lagi tama ako tapos bigla niya akong kakalmahin muna, hind ‘yung sasabayan niya ‘yung level ng emotion ko, and then ipo-point out niya ‘yung gusto niyang sabihin  tapos mare-realize ko oo nga noh.”

On the biggest challenge that they encountered as a couple in the last seven years, Barbie disclosed that it was losing quality time because of Barbie’s work.

“Especially nung na-busy and siyempre nakaramdam ako ng konting guilt towards him. I have to admit, hindi naman ito parang bago, I had to set him aside kasi nag-pick up ang BarDa (her love team with David Licauco),” she confessed.

Despite her busy schedule, Barbie pointed out how understanding Jak has been with the whole situation.

“He really took it lightly. He was very proud of me, very happy for me. Siya nga ‘yung laging nagyayaya mag-celebrate. Itre-treat niya ako ‘pag meron akong bagong endorsement with David, ‘pag may bagong show ako with David. Talagang he sees to it na magce-celebrate kami, itre-treat niya ako, ide-date niya ako. Very secure siya sa sarili niya na he lets his woman shine kahit not with him,” he stated.
