Ryan Bang and his non-showbiz girlfriend Paola Huyong are expected to enter into wedlock very soon.

Paola publishes in a joint Instagram post today, June 29, 2024, photos from Ryan’s marriage proposal to her.

In the caption was a short but sweet note: “God is good [diamond ring emoji]”

From the carousel of photos, different heartwarming moments were captured including Paola’s apparent expression of fondness and surprise at the sight of Ryan on bended knee.

When Paola said yes, the It’s Showtime host locked her into a tight embrace with his giddy smile from ear to ear.

His letter on a tiny card reads: “Mi Amor, Thank you for saying ‘YES’

“Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. From your soon to be husband [heart drawing]”

Like the lovebirds that they are, the future Mr. and Mrs. Bang went on to dance the night away.

The festive mood was up as Ryan and Paola’s loved ones greeted their relationship milestone with supportive cheers and messages.

With booze and cocktails at the ready, DJ Adrian Legarda doubled the fun with upbeat music.

Based on Ryan’s Instagram stories, the gathering was actually set for Paola’s brother who was celebrating his birthday.

Colorful banderitas and tacos filled the place, as they dressed up in Mexican-inspired ensembles.

Ryan sports a boxy white polo with a doodle set of Mexican symbols, while Paola dons a summer-patterned off-the shoulder dress.

RYAN AND PAOLA MEET EACH OTHER’S PARENTS

The proposal did not come as a surprise to some of Ryan’s followers who have already learned about the comedian’s plans to step up his relationship with Paola.

Just before Valentine’s Day this year, the Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010 alum revealed to ABS-CBN News Online that he had already met Paola’s parents.

“Nung na-meet ko yung family ni Paola, yung parents niya, super proud sila sa trabaho ng daddy, mommy ko,” he related.

“Sabi sa akin ng tatay ni Paola, ‘Ryan, simula ngayon ipag-pray namin sila. Kasi ikaw, kasama ka sa family namin, iniisip ko yung daddy, mommy mo, kapatid ko.’

“Talagang tanggap na tanggap ako kung ano ang trabaho ng daddy ko.”

Meanwhile, Paola has also been introduced to Ryan’s parents in South Korea: “Siyempre nagulat sila, first time nila.

“In Korea, you never introduce to your parents if you really want her. Nagulat yung magulang ko.”

He even added that his wish to have both his estranged parents reunited was fulfilled.

“Yun yung best feeling ever. Wini-wish ko yun. At natupad dahil kay Paola,” Ryan expressed.

“Ako, hindi ako magrelasyon, sa ganitong edad ko na 32, ayaw kong magkaroon ng love life kung wala akong plano,” he admitted.

“Hindi ko pipiliin siya, hindi ko ipapakilala sa [It’s] Showtime family, lalo na kina Mommy Vice [Ganda], sa mga hosts, kung wala akong plan or future with her.

“May plan talaga ako.”

Ryan first revealed his relationship status on August 29, 2023, when he announced to ‘madlang pipol’ on It’s Showtime that he is already taken.

“Gusto kong sabihin sa aking [It’s] Showtime family, sa harap ninyo, Mommy, Daddy, kay Kuya ko, ate ko, Tyang, may girlfriend na ako.

“Sobra kong saya kasi ang tagal kong naging single ‘tapos ngayon may girlfriend na ako.”

He was then immediately showered with hugs of affection by his co-hosts Vice Ganda, Kim Chiu, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Amy Perez, Jugs Julueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ion Perez, Jackie Gonzaga, MC Muah, Lassy Marquez, and Cianne Dominguez.
