Actress Jia Yongjie reveals Barbie Hsu’s final words and defends her against past controversies.

On January 6, Jia Yongjie, who was close to the late actress Barbie Hsu, revealed Barbie’s final words to her. Jia wrote on Facebook, “‘Well done! Yong’—her last words to me. You are our family’s pride.”

According to Jia, Chinese netizens had once criticized Barbie over claims that her ex-husband, Wang Xiaofei, purchased a famous luxury bed, which she later returned. However, it was later revealed that the bed in question was not from a well-known brand, clearing up the misunderstanding. The criticism against Barbie reportedly faded within just three days.

Jia further shared, Barbie Hsu‘s life came to a halt in the love she had pursued all her life. At that moment, their love transcended life and death. It was the most beautiful and touching love story I have ever seen, even compared to Korean dramas.”

Barbie Hsu tragically passed away on February 2 due to acute pneumonia while traveling in Japan. She was 48 years old.
