MANILA, Philippines — The late “Meteor Garden” star Barbie Hsu’s assets would be given to his two children and husband DJ Koo.

According to Taiwan media sites, the South Korean DJ confirmed that Barbie’s total estate of 600 million Yuan or P4.7 billion would be given to him and her 10-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son.

Since the kids are still both minors, their father Wang Xiaofei will manage their shares until they reach the legal age.

Koo said that he will give his part of Barbie’s assets to her mother.

“All of that legacy was saved through the sweat and tears of Hee-won while she was alive to protect her beloved family, so I plan to give all authority over me to my mother-in-law,” he said.

“I plan to take legal action through a lawyer to protect my children until they become adults so that bad people cannot touch them,” he added.

Taiwan experts, however, alleged that Koo’s intention, although good, might not be allowed by the court. According to them, if Koo doesn’t want his share, his part would also be given to Barbie’s kids.
