Hiwalay na ang magkasintahang Mikee Quintos, 27, at Paul Salas, 26.
Matipid na ngiti at thumbs up ang sagot ni Mikee nang itanong ng awtor na ito kung okay na siya.
Isang buwan ang nakalilipas mula nang maghiwalay ang couple.
Si Mikee ang bisita sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, nitong Martes ng hapon, Abril 1, 2025, at dito niya inaming wala na sila ng nobyo.
Tanong ni Boy: “I got this from a very reliable source. Oo [o] hindi, and then we can talk about it, up to a certain point that you are comfortable.
“Pero napakahirap ho na itanong ito, oo o hindi, kayo ba ni Paul Salas ay nagkahiwalay na?”
Napabuntong-hininga muna si Mikee bago ito nito kinumpirmang “Opo, hiwalay na kami.”
Diretsong tinanong ni Boy kung may third party sa breakup.
“Oh, first, wala pong third party,” paglilinaw ni Mikee.
“Yung bakit, I think it’s better if you hear from him. That’s better,” malamang dagdag ng aktres.
Ipinaliwanag ni Mikee na prinoproseso pa niya ang breakup nila ni Paul.
“Honestly, before today, pinag-iisipan kong mabuti kong magsasabi na ako sa publiko or hindi.
“Mahirap ito for me. It’s a big… Yung feelings ko, kinokontra yung iniintindi ko sa brain ko, lahat.
“And hindi naman sa ayaw kong i-share, pero I think there’ s a right time for it.
“Pagdaanan ko na lang po muna, and then eventually, kapag okay na ako, pag okay na ako…”
Diin na lang ni Mikee, “When I’m ready, yeah.”
MIKEE QUINTOS SAYS BREAKUP WITH PAUL SALAS A “MUTUAL DECISION”
Ayon kay Mikee, maayos ang huling pag-uusap nila ni Paul.
“Shocking for me lahat ngayon, shocking,” sabi niya.
“A month ago na yung nag-start kaming mag-usap about this decision, and ngayon, nagiging clear sa amin na ito nga yung tama for us.
“Mutual naman na decision ito.”
Sa mga sumunod na salita ni Mikee, mahihinuhang hindi nga madali para sa kanya ang isuko ang pag-ibig para kay Paul
“And madami pa kaming… Bata pa kami. And sincere ito from the bottom of my heart.
“Pinanghahawakan ko lang ngayon yung faith ko na sa lahat ng pinagkuwentuhan ko, sa lahat ng nahingan ko ng advice, ang na-realize ko sa dulo, fifty-fifty, e.
“Nakakagulo lang din ng isip kung lahat tatanungin ko. Same lang din, e.
“Yung will lang ni Lord ang matutuloy sa ending, so I just have faith on that na kung kami, kami.”
Waring bukas si Mikee sa posibilidad na balang araw ay baka sila pa rin ni Paul.
Sabi niya: “Kung kami, I know Siya na ang maghahanap ng way na mangyari iyon.
“Si Lord na, so I won’t try to control things. I just know na ito yung tamang desisyon now.”
Komento ni Boy, “I know why it’s difficult because I would like to assume na mahal mo pa rin si Paul.”
MIKEE QUINTOS: “NO REGRETS”
Hindi na napigilan ni Mikee na tuluyang mapaluha, at saka sinabing ipinaglaban niya ang pagmamahalan nila ni Paul.
“Oo naman. Like, I think more than expected pa,” diin ni Mikee.
Sabi pa niya, “Wala akong regrets, actually, wala akong regrets.”
Sa huli, mahihinuhang may mga bagay na gusto nilang ayusin sa kani-kanilang buhay.
“Mahirap for me ito, itong desisyon na ito,” ulit ni Mikee.
Ang napagtanto raw ng dalaga: “I think what I learned about love is, one, we attract the love that we give ourselves.
“Kung gaano natin kamahal ang mga sarili natin, yun ang love na tinatanggap natin.
“Ganoon yung mga lalakI na naa-attract natin, yung partners na naa-attract natin. Yun din ang kayang tanggapin ng heart natin.”
