Fashion luxury house Prada decided to end their partnership with My Love From The Star actor Kim Soo-hyun.
Several international websites and Korean entertainment sites reported the news. Citing an article from Soompi, Prada Korea issued a statement about terminating Soo-hyun’s contract.
It was back in December 2024, when the fashion brand announced that they are tapping the South Korean actor as their ambassador.
Soompi posted the statement from a representative from Prada Korea, which read: “In consideration of the gravity of the issue, we have mutually agreed to terminate our contract with actor Kim Soo Hyun.
“This decision was made at the headquarters level, and as of now, we can confirm that the contract has been terminated.”
Kim Soo-hyun is in the middle of a shocking controversy involving late actress Kim Sae-ron, who tragically passed last February. Sae-ron was just 24.
One of the issues being hurled against Kim Soo-hyun is that he was involed in a romantic relationship with Sae-ron back when she was only a minor.
The actor was also said to be responsible for pressuring Sae-ron to pay a 700 million won (approximately $481,200) penalty.

Gold Medallist, the agency managing the career of Soo-hyun, released a statement to deny the allegations.
“Just because Kim Soo Hyun is a public figure, that does not mean that he must sit by idly while countless lies are fabricated about him, nor should he endure the flood of personal attacks against him without response.”
