MANILA — “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” lead actor Coco Martin and his co-star McCoy de Leon expressed gratitude as their scenes in the hit action show set another record-breaking online views.

In a social media post released by Dreamscape Entertainment and CCM Film Productions, Martin and de Leon thanked all those who were glued to their screens on Tuesday, February 18 as Tanggol (Martin) confronted David (de Leon) for stealing his identity.

The show’s 524th episode soared to 818,949 peak concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube.

“Maraming-maraming salamat po sa lahat po nang sumusubaybay at nanonood po sa ‘Batang Quiapo.’ Dahil po sa inyo patuloy po naming pinagbubuti  ang aming programa  para gabi-gabi ay makapagbigay kami ng saya  at inspirasyon sa mga manonood. Muli, mula sa bumubuo ng ‘Batang Quiapo’ maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat at mabuhay po kayo,” Martin said.

De Leon told the show’s viewers, “Maraming salamat po sa pag-abang ninyo at gusto ko lang sabihin na umpisa pa lang ‘yan marami pa kayong aabangan.”

Last month, the “Batang Quiapo” team received a heroes’ welcome from fellow Kapamilyas. In the grand event, new cast members were also revealed.

Martin said that the series was set to bring more action and drama.

“Batang Quiapo,” which debuted in February 2023, airs weeknights at 8 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Cinemo, A2Z, and TV5. It’s also available on iWantTFC and TFC.
