A talent manager called her his ‘newest anak and alaga.’

Is PBA player Scottie Thompson‘s ex-fiancee Pau Fajardo joining showbiz?

Netizens speculate that she’s entering the entertainment industry after Viva talent manager Alvin Torno posted a photo on July 9 of himself with Pau and Viva’s big boss, Vic del Rosario.

“Thank you so much for today, Boss Vic! ‘Til next time! #ATTMxVAA #ATTMxVIVA”

In a separate post, Alvin shared a message to Pau, whom he described as his “newest anak and alaga.”

Basta remember that everything in life has a purpose. God uses events [in] our lives, whether good or bad, to transform us. Choice natin whether we want to be miserable or to learn from all the trials we experience. Deadma na sa mga taong nanggugulo sa buhay mo. Choose the right path. Blessings will come at God’s perfect time, not based on our own timing. Basta be teachable and be ready to learn something new. Remain humble because God raises people who are humble.”

ICYDK, Pau was embroiled in a controversial breakup with Scottie. After eight years of being together, Pau and Scottie announced their engagement on New Year’s Day 2021. In June 2021, however, Scottie tied the knot with another woman.

Fans noticed that Scottie had archived his IG photos with Pau, as well as the vlog of his proposal to her. A Facebook post was also deleted where Scottie reportedly talked about the breakup and admitted that it was his fault.

On June 24, Pau addressed the issue in an IG post, explaining why she had chosen to keep the matter private.

“I kept quiet not because I was insensitive or indifferent but because the issue is a very personal matter. And I intend to keep it that way. I will continue to resolve this privately with the help of trusted friends and family.”

“That said, I am deeply hurt. I ended a long-term relationship with the man I was ready to spend the rest of my life with. To say it has been heartbreaking is an understatement. But I am now making the conscious decision to move forward with my life.”
