Kris Aquino just shared a poignant update on her health via Instagram, accompanied by several photos depicting her youngest son, Bimby, assisting her due to her inability to walk without pain.

On Sunday, March 16, Kris revealed that an ultrasound-assisted targeted steroid injections in her knees resulted in severe pain, mirroring her body’s reaction to a similar treatment 34 months ago.

She also disclosed her weight has dropped below 80 lbs (36 kilograms), and that each step she takes is agonizing, with excruciating pain extending from her knees all the way to her feet as well.

“Last night, my rheumatologist tried ultrasound assisted targeted steroid shots on my knees…. My body reacted the same way I did when we tried 34 months ago the steroid challenge.

Bimb is now doing MMA training and I weigh less than 80 lbs, only 36 kilos. I cannot walk, each step is agony. The excruciating pain is from my knees all the way to my feet, a combination of deep bone pain.”

Despite these challenges, Kris chose to share her current reality to inspire hope among her fans.

In her now-viral online post, she emphasized the profound impact of unconditional love, particularly highlighting Bimby’s dedication to alleviating her physical and emotional suffering.

“I decided to post my current reality because I want to give HOPE. When you are unconditionally loved, when like me you are blessed with a son who will do all to lessen his mama’s physical & emotional suffering – HINDI KA SUSUKO. TINITIIS ko yung matinding sakit na parte na ng bawat araw ko dahil ang pagmamahal ng anak ay walang katumbas.”

Concluding her post, the ‘Queen of All Media’ reflected on life’s difficulties, asserting that faith in God and genuine love demonstrated through actions provide the willpower to persevere.

She extended gratitude for the continued prayers for her healing and expressed deep appreciation for Bimby, referring to him as her “northern star” which made netizens emotional online.
