Pinoy Publiko - Coco Martin to help ex-GF Katherine Luna with eye surgery

For years, Coco Martin has been one of the most beloved actors in the Philippines, known for his versatility, humility, and unwavering dedication to his craft. But beyond the glitz and glamour of show business, he has also faced personal struggles—one of which involved his past relationship with actress Katherine Luna.

Their history, once marred by controversy and unanswered questions, has resurfaced in recent interviews, but this time, with a surprising turn of events. In a candid and heartfelt statement, Coco revealed that he has long moved on from the past and now harbors no ill feelings toward Luna.

“I’ve forgiven her,” Coco admitted in an exclusive interview. “Time has allowed me to reflect, and I realized that holding onto resentment wouldn’t do me any good. Life moves forward, and so should we.”

According to veteran entertainment writer Ogie Diaz, Martin said he is willing to include her in the cast of his top-rating series, “Batang Quiapo,” as well as help her with her eye surgery.

Martin, who is currently in a relationship with actress Julia Montes, said that he has already forgiven Luna.

In a recent vlog of Julius Babao, Luna finally clarified that Martin is not the father of her child, and hopes that the actor will forgive her someday.

Martin addressed the paternity issue back in May 2014 through a DNA test.

“Ayun kinausap namin ‘yung lola and pumayag na ipa-DNA ‘yung bata. Negative. Di ko anak ‘yung bata,” the country’s “Primetime King” said in a previous interview.
