Filipina actress and television host Maine Mendoza celebrated her 30th birthday on March 3 with a party at the Uma Nota Manila restaurant.  The event was attended by close friends and colleagues, including actor Alden Richards, with whom Mendoza shares a significant history.

Photos from the celebration, shared on Instagram by Chichi Rita and actress Via Antonio, showcased Richards mingling with guests. Notable attendees included “Eat Bulaga” hosts Vic Sotto and his wife Pauleen Luna-Sotto, Jose Manalo, Myles Ocampo, Allan K, and Ryzza Mae Dizon. Family members such as Vic’s son Oyo Sotto with his wife Kristine Hermosa, and Oyo’s cousin Ciara Sotto, were also present. Actress Maja Salvador also attended the party.

 

Mendoza and Richards, collectively known as “AlDub,” rose to fame in 2015 through the “Kalyeserye” segment of the noontime show “Eat Bulaga.” Their on-screen chemistry garnered a massive following, leading to various endorsements and projects together.

Currently, Mendoza is married to actor and politician Arjo Atayde. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary on July 28, 2024, sharing wedding videos and photos to mark the occasion.  Recently, they enjoyed a winter getaway in Hokkaido, Japan, as seen in photos shared by Mendoza.

The presence of Richards at Mendoza’s birthday celebration highlights the enduring friendship between the two stars, delighting fans who have followed their journey over the years.
