While Ysabel Ortega revealed that marriage is something she and actor Miguel Tanfelix talk about, the actress noted that they are not planning on tying the knot anytime soon.
The topic was brought up during Ortega’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” interview on Tuesday, March 11, after Abunda predicted that 2027 would apparently be a significant year for the actress.
While the show host did not expound on his prediction, Ortega and fellow actress Julie Anne San Jose — who was with her during the interview — seemingly surmised that Abunda was talking about settling down.
The show host went on to ask about Ortega’s relationship with Miguel’s mom, content creator Grace Tanfelix, then followed up, “‘Yung 2027 ba may posibilidad ‘yon?”
“Feeling ko, Tito Boy, actually, we talked about how we’re going to handle our relationship now na nasa separate shows na kami,” Ortega said, referring to her and Miguel.
“Parang we had the time na to develop and work on what we have. So ngayon, we’re focused naman on growing as solo people, growing ourselves mismo,” she continued.
Ortega further underscored that their individual growth is their priority at the moment and for the next few years.
When Abunda asked if she sees herself getting married in 2027, Ortega responded, “It’s something we talk about pero feeling ko hindi pa po sa 2027. But definitely, it’s something we’re talking about naman.”

Ortega and Miguel confirmed their “exclusively dating” status in December 2023.
