MANILA, Philippines — Actress Bea Alonzo on Saturday revealed an interesting turn for her dating life,  as she reflected on her days as a Kapamilya actress during her latest video on YouTube titled, “Ask Bea.”

The actress, which has over 553,000 subscribers on YouTube, uploaded her first “AskBea” episode wherein she answers netizens’ questions about her personal life, work and other topics.

One particular netizen, who is curious about her love life asked: “(Ku)musta ang lagay ng puso? (How is your heart feeling?)”

Alonzo giggled at first then answered: “Okay naman siya. Nag-e-entertain siya. Nagde-date siya. Open siya maging masaya. (She is okay. She is entertaining anyone. She is dating. She is open to be happy.)”

The ABS-CBN actress also had her message to critics:

“We need more positivity these days na ang daming negative things n a nangyayari sa buong mundo… If they want to bash me, hanggang dun lang naman hindi naman ako mapapatay ng mga salita e,” she said in response to another query about her reaction to her fans that turned into her “bashers.”

(There are so many negative things in the world. If they want to bash me, their words can only do so much. Their words cannot kill me.)

‘Kapamilya days’

Alonzo, who is popularly known for her roles in “One More Chance” and “Four Sisters and a Wedding,” also revealed that she owed her talent of acting to ABS-CBN Corp.

“Everything I know about the business, I know it, because I am a Kapamilya. Before naman ako nag-artista, hindi ko naman alam kung paano umarte (before being an actress, I didn’t know how to act) but more than that, I learned how to love a colleague, how to care about one another,” Alonzo said when asked about her growth as a Kapamilya actress.

She also revealed that the majority of her friends were from ABS-CBN, having to start acting roles at the age of 13.

“I have learned the value of hardwork and the gift of friendships because 90 percent of my friends are from ABS-CBN because I started when I was 13 years old… They helped me hone the person I am today,” she said.
