GRETCHEN Barretto addressed the persistent separation rumors hounding her and her longtime partner, businessman Tonyboy Cojuangco, with the former underscoring that they have never separated.

Barretto spoke about this during her clinic visit to her doctor and close friend, Dra. Aivee Teo, as seen on the latter’s vlog on her YouTube channel last Saturday, Oct. 5.

While having a beauty treatment, Barretto told Teo, “When a man supports a woman wherever you go; supports you even when you’re doing derma, that is something else. A keeper.”

“That’s what Tony is. It doesn’t matter what time, what day,” she continued. “Tingnan mo naman, 31 years na kami sa [February]. Never separated ha.”

Further speaking about their relationship, Baretto stressed that she and Cojuangco just brush off rumors about their supposed breakup.

“Ang funny nga when people say hiwalay [kami]. Oh my gosh. Alam mo now, I laugh — we really laugh [about it],” she added.

Barretto also agreed with Teo who said that Cojuangco is the former’s “constant.”

“[We] have history, [We] have continuity. [We] have everything,” Barretto noted.

Barretto and Cojuangco, who have yet to tie the knot, share a daughter named Dominique. Dominique got married in 2023, and welcomed her first child last May. (Anne Pasajol © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
