Several days after the wedding of Scottie Thompson emerged online with another woman, Pau Fajardo issues a formal statement.

Barangay Ginebra star Scottie Thompson finally marries six months after engagement but to the shock of many people, it was not with his known long-time girlfriend Pau Fajardo, who is technically now his ex. Many people have known Pau as the girl beside him even before he started a career in PBA and they were heartbroken to hear that he chose another woman over her who’s been with him during his struggles.

He married Jinky Serrano, a famous Tiktoker and a flight stewardess from Pampanga. Speculation has it that his wife now must be pregnant the reason why they rushed to marriage. Also, netizens suspected that an overlapping has happened.

And now, finally breaking her absence in social media, Pau made her presence felt by issuing a formal statement about the matter without directly mentioning names as many people got dragged because of the issue. Such a move is for her to accordingly “put a stop to all the gossip” and “reclaim [her] private life.”

She recognizes that she’s not a public figure, much less a celebrity but she never realized a big buzz it has created when the news broke out online. She candidly expressed her pain saying, “I am deeply hurt. I ended a long-term relationship with the man I was ready to spend the rest of my life with. To say it has been heartbreaking is an understatement.”

Hoping that her statement will put an end to all the rumors surrounding this issue which is a very personal matter to her she stated, “This will be the last time I will be commenting on this issue. I kindly ask everyone to respect my decision.”

As much as many people is aware, under Thompson’s belt are five PBA championships. He did so much for the  the Gin Kings to snatch the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup title just last December. He admitted his mistake as to why relationship with Pau ended and took all the blame.
