Maiqui Pineda, wife of Kapamilya host Robi Domingo, reacted to a false report claiming she only has months to live.

Maiqui, who has been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, took to Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of the fake news.

The post published by Facebook page Pinoy Spotlight fallaciously claimed that Robi confirmed she is dying and stated, “Sobrang sakit! Ilang buwan ko na lang siya makakasama.”

In the on-screen caption of her IG story, Maiqui debunked the supposed quote and thanked those who shared the false report with her.

“I don’t use Facebook so I don’t see posts like these but thanks to people for sharing to me. Probably why people would ask me if I’m OK,” she wrote.

As per Maiqui, she only shares her health updates on Instagram as she has built a “good relationship” with her followers on the said social networking app.

“You guys know me best,” she told her IG followers.

She also urged the public, “If ever you have the time, please help me report this post for false information on health. Thank you!”

Robi Domingo is a Filipino VJ, actor, dancer, and host. He first gained fame as a Pinoy Big Brother contestant, ending up as the first runner-up of the reality competition series.

The Kapamilya star used to be in a relationship with Gretchen Ho before getting into a relationship with Maiqui Pineda.
