Kapuso star Iya Villania shared that she has taken a slower approach to physical fitness after the birth of her fifth child. The celebrity mom took to her Instagram account to share with her followers a glimpse of what she does inside the gym.
Iya has been known to love working out even while she was pregnant. She has collected followers who would watch her gym routine as she serves as an inspiration to many mothers who also wish to go back to a healthier lifestyle.
In the Instagram Reel she uploaded, she is seen having fun conversing with her gym buddy–– from stretching to warm-ups. She expressed how she realized how good she feels every time she’s able to sweat it out.
“I used to be in such a rush to get back to my pre-pregnancy body, but now—after 5 kids—I’ve become more patient with my body just respecting it and being in awe of what its been able to do time and time again,” she wrote.
Iya added that she isn’t putting in the work because she wants to go back to her old body but rather the feeling of accomplishment she receives each time her workout session finishes.
“Yes, I am working out—not to get back to what it was—but simply because it makes me feel good (only AFTER the workout 😂) The endorphins, the energy, the friends and chika…😆 Plus who doesn’t feel good about being able to reap the benefits of the work that they put in?” she added.
She maintained that she is just happy to be back and doesn’t mind the “fluff” that she had due to her pregnancy with her fifth child.
“Still feeling fluffy in many parts of my body and I’m cool with that (not entirely cool that I want to keep it tho 😂) I honestly don’t know how much of the fluff I’ll be able to get rid of this time around but I’m just happy to be back on the road to gaining strength again,” she shared.
“Strength is the goal, fat loss is the bonus and chika is the priority,” she ended.
Fans of the Kapuso star expressed their awe in how eager she is to get back to physical training only after giving birth a few weeks back. Some netizens shared that she continues to become their inspiration in their fitness journey.
Iya previously gave birth last February 11. She welcomed their fifth child, Anya Love Villania-Arellano, alongside her husband Drew Arellano.
